After a good cruise down in the BAD Missing Man Formation,
Mrs Shagger's suggestion of a queue avoiding pub stop fell
upon deaf ears as we were informed by our Pathfinder, Mrs
Bugster that the anticipated queues had not materialised.
BVF Masterplan or reduced attendance?
BAD's request of a pitch as far away from the funfair as possible
also must have fell on deaf ears as we were close enough to
be mistaken for pikey fairground folk!
Nevertheless the sight of the funfair excited Greywolf so
much that he instantly practiced his dodgem skills and proceeded
to reverse into the future Mrs Gunny's van!Swearing ensued,
followed by more of the same as BAD Camp was set up in the
rain. With more BADuns in attendance by nightfall the rolling
acres of the plot we had been allocated steadily filled up.
"Hey, hey baby..oohh, aagh, I want to know..."
Good BAD club night in the BPT.."who let the dogs out
?" which seemingly turned into a bottle-bank overnight..."I
don't believe it!!"
Plenty to do and see on Saturday, although not as busy as
previous years. " Hahaha... wipeout! "
Roll Call for BAD Army at 1930hrs ...assembled and ready to
march by 2000hrs. Sgt. Gross spearheaded the BAD Army Choir
into the disco and after the relief of realising none of us
was Michael Jackson, the Grand BADentrance and BADexit was
interceded with a partydub evening. So back to the BPT for
more BADantics.Whereupon I would like to adapt a more serious
tone , as Gunny, not well known for his public speaking, after
apologising to the BADuns for his impersonation of Duncan
Disorderly the previous night, did the dutiful and proposed
to his beloved... Mr Cool or what!? "Simply the bbbbbbbbbest,
better than all the rest"
Brilliant sunshine to accompany several hangovers on Sunday,
chill out day.
VWell done to our Joe for winning two flower things for his
engine (not the lid!)
Inevitably... Homeward Bound, penned by Simon and Garfunkle
not Sgt. Gross!
Good cruise home with Squary Spice lazily bringing up the
rear, " hold on tight now!"
All in all another BAD weekend.. all safely home and I for
one cannot remember any of those fairground tunes!
Thanks to all!!!
